Tira Audrey is currently the Digital Style Editor at BET digital, a division of Viacom. As an Editor, she assigns and writes high-impact fashion and beauty content that resonates with the BET audience.
Starting out in Digital Marketing and Public Relations, Tira transitioned into editorial publishing. She held the position as Associate Fashion Editor at Hearst Women’s Fashion Group, including Cosmopolitan magazine, the largest women’s publication in the world. While in her tenure, Tira edited the lower contemporary ready-to-wear market for Cosmopolitan and Seventeen’s highest rated page, “Under $50.” She also conceptualized and was lead Editor for Seventeen magazines 2018 Prom issue. Her work can also be found in Redbook, Women’s Day, Women’s Health and Good Housekeeping magazines.
As A Content Creator, Tira was featured in Social Media campaigns for brands such as David’s Bridal, Lulu’s, Lucky Brand Jeans, and has been featured on Essence, WhoWhatWear, and Refinery29.com.
The New York City based Editor has carved out a niche for herself in the hyper-competitive world of digital publishing infusing her knowledge of fashion and culture. Tira hopes to inspire the next generation of women to live boldly with passion and purpose.
